Bro, put in the EXIF if possible, that will give us a hint what was done.

I presume this is a plan shot. I would think widening the the back light to give a fuller highlight coverage would be better. Than again, you may lose the rainbow ring flare, which is nice. Any filter utilised or it is from the lens?

I guess there is a front light. Probably using a higher shutter speed to suppress some of the background. The dark doorway, a wall plug, stairstep are a bit disturbing.

If a passing shot, what else can be said. One moment in time it is...

Eventhough this is your first posting...history can't deny you were there in photoskool first meet-up
at Lotus KLCC. Welcome to LM JS.

IMHO, halo ring might appear especially when you shoot in big aperture superfast lens.
Maybe this is 1.2 especially when you shoot against light. I love to shoot into light but
1 thing i always want to avoid is this halo ring.

Impact on visual...hmmm...i try to get the feel in the first sight of this picture but I couldn't get it.
Something missing...perhaps I can see the guy hand on the girl shoulder but it seem to be there
unintentionally. Looking at this picture, I can say this is a plan shot. Might be better if you can rearrange
the veil so it can strengthen the impact even more.

On technical side, i think the shadow area is already went underexposed.
